Since 2005 with Yan's relocation to the UK from China, she has embarked on a journey of remaking herself from a medical doctor to a photographic artist. This year, with her new title of a Doctor in Philosophy, she can safely say that there is no way back. A life with photography is not easy, but fulfilling. Cheers everyone!
